Who Got Engaged or Married in 2019
Love is in the Nashville air! The year 2019 has been a good one, relationship-wise, for a number of country artists.
The biggest marriage of 2019 was, of course, Miranda Lambert's surprise wedding to New York police officer Brendan McLoughlin. The country superstar — who divorced her first husband, Blake Shelton, in 2015 — met and married her new husband in the span of only a few months.
Both rising singer-songwriter Devin Dawson and country singer/DJ Chuck Wicks popped the question in early March, and they've already tied the knot with their respective significant others. In fact, there were a few other country artists who got both engaged and married this year.

Married: Miranda Lambert
Lambert stunned fans on Feb. 16, when she announced that she'd secretly married a man named Brendan McLoughlin. The New York City police officer and former model / actor is in his late 20s and was appointed to the NYPD in 2013. According to sources, he and Lambert met in early November, while she was in the city with the Pistol Annies, and got married in Davidson County, Tenn., on Jan. 26.
Married: Andrea Young
Young, a member of Farewell Angelina, and Brad Nelson, tied the knot on March 2 in Jamaica. Of course, her bandmates -- Nicole Witt, Ashley Gearing and Lisa Torres -- were there for the big moment!
Married: Michelle Branch + Patrick Carney
Singer-songwriter Branch and her Black Keys member husband Carney got married on April 20 in New Orleans, at the city's Marigny Opera House. Close friends and family — including Branch's 13-year-old daughter, Owen, and the couple's 7-month-old son, Rhys, as well as well as celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern and photographer Brian Bowen Smith — were in attendance.
Married: Jillian Jacqueline + Bryan Brown
Jacqueline and Brown, her guitarist, tied the knot on April 27. The wedding took place in Nashville, in front of 150 of their loved ones. Jacqueline planned and designed the bohemian-inspired wedding, which featured vintage rugs, Birds of Paradise plants and velvet couches as decor.
Engaged + Married: Chuck Wicks
Country singer and radio DJ Wicks proposed to Jason Aldean's younger sister, Kasi Williams, on March 7 -- and, naturally, she said yes. The two first hinted at their relationship on social media in June of 2018; later that summer, Wicks shared that he was planning to bring Kasi home to Delaware to meet his family. Her superstar brother is cool with their relationship, too: Early on, Aldean gave both Wicks and his sister his approval. Wicks and Williams tied the knot on July 12 in Mexico.
Engaged + Married: Rachel Wammack
Country up-and-comer Wammack and her boyfriend Noah Purcell got engaged on March 11 and married on Aug. 3. The two have been together since at least the spring of 2017, according to photos on Purcell's Instagram account; his feed shows pictures of the two in Wammack's hometown of Muscle Shoals, Ala., at that time. The couple tied the knot in Muscle Shoals, at Cypress Lakes Country Club; Purcell's father married the couple, while Purcell's brother served as his best man and Wammack's longtime friend, Faith Kelley, was her matron of honor.
Engaged + Married: Rachel Reinert
Solo artist Reinert -- formerly a member of the country trio Gloriana -- got engaged on Valentine's Day, to her longtime boyfriend Caleb Crosby, who is the drummer in the band Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown. The two, who had been dating since late 2014, tied the knot on Aug. 30, at a small ceremony held in a luxury treehouse in Tennessee.

Former American Idol contestants Barrett and Foehner got engaged when he proposed by surprise during an early 2019 trip to Los Angeles. “The hotel we were staying at while we were there was the same one me and Cade met and hung out in for the first time during Idol,” Barrett shares -- and that inspired Foehner to pop the question during the trip. However, because he wasn't planning on proposing at that time, he had his sister overnight the ring he had already purchased to make the moment perfect. Wasting no time starting their life together, Barrett and Foehner tied the knot on Oct. 5.
